Training RequirementsMandatory. Employees must successfully complete an approved alcohol server training program and obtain the proper permit within 60 days from their date of hire.

Mitigation BenefitsThe Board may impose different penalties/suspensions based on mitigating circumstances. Examples include: permit holder checked patron’s ID, cooperated with law enforcement or permit holder used a licensee certification card.

Certification & Misc. FeesA Class 12 permit is issued to anyone who is over 21 that is a manager, bartender or draws from tap and/or mixes drinks. A Class 13 permit is issued to anyone who is at least 18 that serves alcohol and checks IDs can deliver drinks but cannot mix drinks or draw from tap.
