Code requirement	Each food establishment shall have employed at least one employee who is in a supervisory position who is trained in food safety and sanitation and shall have employed food workers who are trained in food safety and sanitation which is commensurate to each food worker's responsibilities.

Hours of Instruction	Course must be approved by the State Health Department.

Certification Renewal	Local jurisdiction may vary

Miscellaneous	Approved courses must cover Food Safety principles. ServSafe certificate should be kept on file at food service establishment.
