Taking an Exam

SERVSAFE® FOOD PROTECTION MANAGER CERTIFICATION EXAM

The ServSafe print and online food safety exams are accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under CFP Standards and are nationally accepted.

  • A Registered ServSafe Proctor is required to administer the exam.*
  • The exam is available online or in print format.
  • The print exam is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, French Canadian, Large Print and an Instructor version for those looking to apply as a Certified ServSafe Instructor..

*If you don’t have a proctor, check with your state restaurant association, local health department or community college with a culinary or hospitality program to find out if a proctored online exam site is available in your area. Find an Instructor/Proctor or Find a Class.
