Prior to taking the ServSafe Alcohol California Online Course users need to register on California's Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Portal. You must have your nine-digit Server ID number from your registration on the RBS Portal to launch the course.
Upon completion of your course, ServSafe will transfer your course record to the California ABC within 24 hours. When your training is confirmed, you will receive an e-mail from the California ABC notifying you that your exam is available. You will return to the RBS Portal to take the state exam.
The ServSafe Alcohol California Online Course is approved by the California ABC to meet state training requirements.
You will have 90 days from the start date to complete the course. The course will expire one year from the date of purchase.
