ServSafe® and ServSafe Alcohol® training and examinations are available online. Follow these steps to implement online training and exams in your organization.
STEP 1: CHECK REQUIREMENTS
Check state and local regulatory information and your organization’s policies to determine your training and certification needs.
STEP 2: PURCHASE THE ONLINE COURSE AND EXAM
Purchase the Online Course and Exam for your employees:
- ServSafe Manager Online Course
- ServSafe Manager Certification Online Exam Voucher
- ServSafe Food Handler Online Course and Exam
- ServSafe Alcohol Online Course and Exam
STEP 3: ASSIGN THE ONLINE COURSE TO YOUR EMPLOYEES
To assign an online food or alcohol safety course to a student, view the demonstration videos or follow these steps.
STEP 4: BECOME A REGISTERED SERVSAFE PROCTOR OR REGISTERED SERVSAFE ALCOHOL ONLINE PROCTOR
If you are already a proctor, skip this step.
An exam proctor will need to be physically present to administer an exam (ServSafe Food Protection Manager and ServSafe Alcohol Advanced exams).
Become a ServSafe Proctor.
STEP 5: ADMINISTER THE SERVSAFE OR SERVSAFE ALCOHOL EXAM
