How do I order ServSafe Manager examination booklets and schedule an exam session?
Registered ServSafe Proctors can order exam booklets online using the Schedule Exam Sessions link under the Instructors/Proctors tab. You will use the Schedule Exam Sessions link to order exam booklets and schedule online exams. If you are not able to schedule the exam session online, Registered ServSafe Proctors can also print and submit the Exam Request Form to the Service Center for processing.
How do I assign an online course?
You must first purchase the online course in order to assign it. You can assign online courses three ways:
To assign courses, go to Course Activities on Course Management, select the course that you want to assign online courses for, and go to the Assign Courses tab under Management Options.

How do I Proctor an Online Exam?
To proctor an online exam you will need to schedule an Online Exam Session and obtain the Proctor Access Code. You’ll then want to make sure the examinee has an Exam Access Code and a User ID and Password for ServSafe.com. Detailed instructions on proctoring examinations are available in the Examination Administration Handbook for the program you are using.

How do I unassign a course?
If a student has not started a course, you can unassign it and return it to your pool of course keys. Go to Course Activities on Course Management. Select the course that the student is taking from the list. Select the Track Students tab and you’ll be able to see your students’ progress. If the student hasn’t started the course, you’ll see a trash can symbol. Select this icon and it will remove the course from that student. The course will return to your available pool to assign. You can follow this same process for Unassigned Course Keys by selecting that option from the Course Management page. You can remove any Course Key that has a trash can symbol and return it to your pool of available Course Keys.

How do I register as a ServSafe Alcohol Online Proctor?
You must meet requirements on the ServSafe Alcohol Online Proctor Application to become an online proctor. Online Proctors are only able to proctor the ServSafe Alcohol Advanced Online Exam. ServSafe Alcohol Online Proctors are NOT authorized to teach a ServSafe Alcohol course or to proctor paper examinations. If you are already registered with National Restaurant Association as an Approved ServSafe Alcohol Instructor, you do not have to register to be a ServSafe Alcohol Online Proctor. What do I do if I think something is wrong with the exam results I receive?

As an instructor/proctor, how can I help students that don’t have access to a computer?
Proctors can tell a student without computer access their score and print their certificate for them. To do this, log in to ServSafe.com and select "View Student Scores". Next locate the exam session the student is in. Click on the Exam Session Number. You can then print a certificate for all students in an exam session or select “Student Details” to print a certificate for an individual. In addition, libraries offer free public access to computers. Certificates and scores can also be viewed on mobile devices by logging in to ServSafe.com.
How do I track my students’ progress?
Go to Course Activities on Course Management and select the course that the student is taking. Once your students have started the course, you’ll be able to see all of your students’ progress under the Track Students tab. You’ll also be able to see the date the course was assigned, the date the course is set to expire, and attach custom information (such as an Employee ID, Store Number, etc.) to the student’s record under the Edit field.
What does a student do if they don’t have an email address?
An email address is required to receive scores and print a certificate. The email address of a friend or relative may be used, as long as you know this individual will send you all communication intended for you. Or you can register online to get a free email address. How do I request ServSafe Alcohol Advanced Examinations for states or organizations that require a proctored alcohol exam?
Can I still have certificates sent to me directly?
We are not sendng certificates to Instructors/Proctors. Proctors now have the ability to print an individual certificate or all of the certificates from an exam session. To print certificates, log in to ServSafe.com and select View Student Scores. Next, locate the exam session with the certificates that you are printing and click on the Exam Session Number. Select "print" from that screen to print certificates for the entire exam session or select “Student Details” to print an individual certificate.
